Windows are good to be cleaned at least twice a year – once in spring and once before winter. Clean windows mean a brighter and more welcoming home. It is not hard to clean windows but it should be done properly, otherwise they will quickly become dirty again. Make your own window cleaning solution at a fraction of the cost of a commercial cleaner and keep your windows clean and shiny.
To clean your windows, cleaners Bellingham suggest a solution of warm water and a small amount of dish soap. Do not use too much dish soap, as the mixture will become too sudsy. For a more natural window cleaner, mix 2 tablespoons of cornstarch, 1 cup of vinegar and ½ cup of ammonia with cool water. Stir the mixture until the cornstarch is completely dissolved.
Once you have prepared the cleaning solution, saturate a squeegee into it and clean your windows, starting from the upper corner of the windows and working in an “S” pattern. This means to move the squeegee across the window first, then to go one idea downer and to go across the window again, keeping this pattern until you reach the bottom.
Although, you may have heard that crumpled newspapers are great to wipe windows dry and clean, they are more likely to move the dirt across the glass surface, rather than lifting it up from the window, making the surface looking dirty or smudged even after cleaning.
If you don’t have time to clean your windows, consider hiring cleaners Berrylands to do the job instead of you.
